Answer: Marketing is used to identify the customer, satisfy the customer, and finally keep the customer. All three aspects are crucial to successful marketing strategies! Although there are many forms of marketing, we’ll narrow it down to marketing on the internet. Literally millions of people use the internet and appreciate search engines (like Google, Yahoo or Bing) to find helpful information, products and business services!

When you build your website, (your internet storefront) 5 objectives of marketing include:

Define the type of person you want to come to your website

Determine what those niche keywords are that these people are searching for then take note who your competition is. You might need to focus on a smaller market in that specific area. It’s better to get 10 promising leads vs 100 people who really aren’t interested in what you are selling.

Create your website with good search engine optimization. If unfamiliar with SEO, a marketing professional would enhance your outcome. Sometimes people unrealistically believe this phrase: “Build a site, they will come!” Not so. You can build a site with no traffic, sales or leads. Internet marketing and SEO tactics are crucial to great results!

Make sure your website is user-friendly. If someone lands on your website and doesn’t find your site easy to understand or the navigation is complicated, chances are you will lose this potential client.

Analyse results and compare and contrast what brings results. Learn why consumers buy what they buy and how you can influence their decision.

These five objectives of marketing should help you start your presence online. If you want to share your Christian faith, your product or your service, use these internet marketing techniques to help your business achieve dynamic goals this year!

Question: What are SEO keywords? Answer: SEO (search engine optimization) is the task of helping each of your web pages appear in search engine results. Keywords are the phrases, questions, or keywords people are typing into search engines to get results they are looking for! So when someone says “SEO keywords” this is stating that [...]

Question: What are SEO keywords?

Answer: SEO (search engine optimization) is the task of helping each of your web pages appear in search engine results. Keywords are the phrases, questions, or keywords people are typing into search engines to get results they are looking for!

So when someone says “SEO keywords” this is stating that you need to use good SEO keywords in your content and meta tags to let Google and other search engines know what your web page is about. Many times we see websites that don’t optimize their pages with SEO keywords. It’s important to find good keywords that people are searching for.

Let me write an example of a bad SEO keyword. Let’s take this imaginary word: “catechophycal” If you put it in a search engine, right now there are 2-3 websites that have this word…and where I picked it for this article! No one is writing about it because it’s an imaginary word! And no one is searching for it either. This would not be a good SEO keyword.

The object of using SEO keywords is to find a phrase, question or words that people are searching for without too much competition. Take a look at the keywords – Jesus Christ. There are literally millions of websites with His name. Although that is a good thing in the spiritual sense, it would be extremely hard to compete with these words alone.

I hoped this article helped you answer the question, “What are SEO keywords?” If you need more SEO advice, contact us for Christian internet marketing consultation. We want to see the gospel of Jesus Christ shared around the world! As a Christian business,we’d also like to see your business broaden through the use of good SEO keywords!

I recommend seeing this movie trailer first. Afterwards, click here for facts about abortion.

The film, “October Baby” is coming to theaters on March 23, 2012. It’s a beautiful story about a young, naive college girl who discovers that her entire life is a lie. Hannah was actually adopted after a failed abortion! Bewildered, angered, and confused, she sets out on a road trip, to discover who she is; trying to understand why she feels so much hatred and emptiness!

If you are wondering when you can have an abortion, watch this 2 minute movie trailer. Life can be so much more than what you have planned! God has good plans for you.

The movie “October Baby” is rated PG-13 for brief detail about the abortion process. No graphic images are shown, no nudity and no foul language.

Instead of choosing abortion, choose love and life through adoption!

Colors for websites is an important part of internet marketing. Why? Because colors bring out different emotions, stimulate our memory and they help you attract the type of people you want to visit your website! How does this work and what colors for websites will simulate our senses and emotions?

Words are a powerful marketing tool but colors for websites has an enticing ability to impact your visitors!

Let’s look at some basic colors and connect them to some of the emotions that can be created when people land on your website. What are the meanings of colors for websites?

White – Brings thoughts of purity and simplicity. A decade ago, it was typical to have a white website.

Blue – A very familiar color used for websites that connects our emotion to trust and stability. It can also make us think of the sky and or water.

Green – This color is associated with money and life. Many times websites that are promoting nature will use the color green.

Orange – What do you think of with orange? Orange is fun and child-like. Many people will apply orange to youthful websites.

Red – Red is attention getting. If too much red is used it can take away from the ability of getting someone’s attention. Red can be used for calls-to-action in addition to romance. Many web owners who use red will use it as as an accent color with white.

Purple – Don’t you associate purple with royalty? Think back to your childhood with stories of Kings and Queens. Today people also connect it with classy products.

Pink – Pink is a typically a feminine color. It kindles cute and affectionate feelings. It can be associated with romantic products.

Yellow – What do you connect with yellow? Sunshine? Happiness? Youth and lively emotions? That’s right. You got it.

Black – (This is technically a lack of color, but for website purposes, I added it.) Today there are numerous websites that are designed with black as their primary color. Black enhances other colors. It’s powerful, strong and easily gets anyone’s attention!

Knowing the emotions of these basic colors, you can determine which colors would market the best results for the product or service you offer. Whose attention are you trying to get? Women or men? Young kids, teens, or older adults? Laid back or active people? Do you want to portray a fun or serious emotion? Determine these answers before choosing which colors to use for your website.

If you already created a website, you might need to determine if your website needs a color makeover. At the same time, take the opportunity this year to see what other color-related internet marketing changes you could apply to improve your site. Words are a powerful marketing tool but colors for websites has an enticing ability to impact your visitors!

You have a website and probably use Facebook because of its popularity. But what about other social media sites such as Linkedin?

If you are familiar with Linkedin, you know that it works great for networking in the professional world. You can keep in touch with clients or previous co-workers, add your online resume, find another job, get recommendations from previous employers or clients and also network to find new clients and customers!

But wait…there’s more! Business owners should use Linkedin to promote their company. After joining Linkedin, you should create a Linkedin company page.

Here are several reasons why you should create a Linkedin company page:

Similar to creating a business page on Facebook, Linkedin also allows company pages which can have followers. This will allow followers to keep up with company news and updates.

Just like you need your own personal recommendations, your company does also! You will be able to get company recommendations that will promote and help when consumers are looking for reviews or when potential clients are searching your business.

Business owners can post updates for those who are following their business page.

Products and services can and should be added to your company page; this also gives you the ability to showcase items by adding images and videos.

If you are a business owner, take advantage of this free opportunity with Linkedin. Linkedin is not as popular as Twitter or Facebook but it has over 135 million professionals who are networking! Are you looking for new opportunities? This is one FREE opportunity you don’t want to pass by this year!

“Check my website for errors?“, you ask. What does that have to do with internet marketing or search engine optimization? It is very important because Google looks and observes the errors you have on your website! These errors play a part of the decision search engines use to determine if your website should be in search results. If you are a website owner, this fact is crucial for you to note and correct. So, what should you do?

The two main websites we recommend to check is Google Webmaster Tools and WC3. These websites will actually point out errors for you to fix! You might not even be aware of the errors, but they will count against you. Don’t procrastinate fixing website errors! If possible, fix errors early so you don’t have a lot of work.

There are 3 main website errors I will mention that you should repair:

404′s – Many times you might go to someone’s website and land on a 404 web page. Webmasters can create a cute template for 404′s but they are not good to have. Google will look down on them. What are they? They are webpages that can’t be found. Although there is a technical explaination, we won’t go there in this blog post. 404 errors are often returned when pages have been moved or deleted. If it’s a mistake, fix it. If you moved the page, use a 301 (moved permanently response) instead which will be accepted by search engines. If this is too technical for you, contact us (or your webmaster) and make sure you resolve these website errors! Either way, as a user of the web, don’t you dislike landing on one of these website pages?

Duplicate Content – If you have any duplicate content on your own site or from another website, these errors will count against you. Google views duplicate content as plagerism even if it’s your own work. Make sure your content is unique and if you find duplicate content, correct the errors on your website!

Meta Tags Errors – Meta tags are important to have on every page you want Google to see, but you also need to make sure they are not too long or too short or these will be considered as errors. Although search engines vary on the exact number of characters, keep an eye on limiting your title tags to 60 characters and your description to a maximum of 160 characters. Once again, Google will notice if you have duplicated any of these meta tags and it will be viewed as errors on your website.

Now you are able to state, “I can check my website for errors!” Clean up your website pages and see success in the near future. Improve your website results in Google today!

Q: How Long Does it Take to Design a Website?

A: It really depends how complex of a website you are wanting to create. Will you be using e-commerce on your website? Are you selling a product or a service? Do you want a blog to share with the world or just with friends?

How long does it take to design a website? Websites can be created in 30 minutes. More complex designs with other aspects can take weeks if you have it built from a “blank palette.” I’ve known companies that were getting websites made and it literally took months to get it completed from a web design company!

You also need to consider how much does a web design cost? I’ve known websites to cost as low as $99 and as much as $100,000! Part of this cost might be come from the web designer. Sometimes businesses are willing to pay incredible amounts of money for domain names. And the sad part about it? Businesses are paying top dollar for websites…when they don’t need to!

Another variable that needs to addressed is this: Once you have a website, where is your website traffic coming from? Sometimes people are unaware that websites don’t automatically bring customers or clients to your website. Yes, you can pass out business cards with your website address and that will bring a small number to your website. But you also want to grab the opportunity of the millions of people who are searching for the information or product you are marketing on YOUR website! That’s where Christian internet marketing and search engine optimization (getting your website on the first page of Google) come into the picture!!

Now that you are seeing the entire drawing board, consider this. Build a good-looking site that is within your means and focus on getting the leads, sales and traffic to your website through internet marketing. Don’t waste thousands of dollars to design a website that isn’t found in search engines. You can have a website built in one literal day. Don’t wait month after month to design a website! Do you want to know how to do this?

Recent kids’ films I recommend include one called “Dolphin Tale.” What is it about?

“Dolphin Tale” is a great story of a unique dolphin called Winter and the compassionate and kind people who worked together to save her life. This young dolphin is caught in a crab trap and as a result severely damages her tail. She is rescued and transported to a hospital and it’s there she is named Winter. A marine biologist and the determined devotion of a young boy result in an incredible answer—an answer that can save Winter but could also help thousands of people around the world. The dolphin, Winter, serves as a symbol of courage and hope to those that face their own physical challenges.

From the producers of Blind Side”, this newly released movie “Dolphin Tale”, is heartwarming, adventurous and a family friendly movie that demonstrates wonderful relationships between family, human and animal! These kids’ films in 2011 are an inspiration! Take a look at this trailer:

Q. How can I get a job without experience?

A. In today’s economy, unemployment has been high. Knowing how to get a job is important! I was reading about a college guy who tried to get a job with foursquare. (a popular social media website) Interestingly he got the job, even though he probably wasn’t the person with the best experience! How did he do this?

Most people think they need the right amount of schooling, experience and know how. But this guy didn’t even write perfect grammar in his initial email to the company. Wow! So, how did he get the job?

Here are some key factors I noticed which helped him get a job without experience:

Find a company you admire and find fascinating - After Tristan found foursquare, he got to understand how the social media site worked for two months before he took any steps.

Research who the key owners are - Learning about foursquare, Tristan surfed and researched the internet, who the owners were, then emailed them.

Be passionate – The email that Tristan wrote was not perfect. But it was full of passion about what he did and how much he was impressed with foursquare. The company you want a job with needs to see your passion, determination and love for their company.

Don’t give up so fast – It was only after his eighth email that Tristan heard back from foursquare’s co-founder, Dennis. (Although this can really annoy someone, so be ready for it.) :-P

Be willing & prepared – Tristan had the door cracked. With an opportunity to meet Dennis, he quickly got a flight to the company office and was there, willing and ready for the interview.

Tristan makes a powerful statement I want to share with you:

“be so enamored with the product that you would work for the company even if they didnt hire you…more importantly find where the needs are within the organization and be willing to do whatever it takes to help them fill the need (work for free even!)…and MOST importantly make sure that you’re filling a need that the organization doesn’t have the resources to fill on its own.”

If you would like to read his story firsthand, go to Tristan’s blog, and check out the full story! You can get a job without experience…just like Tristan did with foursquare!

Christian reviews of movies:

In 2011, the movie I reviewed was Courageous. And it was fantastic!!

The story line is about four men who are police officers. Scenes throughout the movie are action packed from law enforcement drama! But by the end of the day, these men go home and are dealing with family and fatherhood. Several of the men are Christians. They desire to have a good relationship with their children but can see they are drifting away.

I love how real this movie felt as I watched it. There is emotion like pain, sorrow, pride, embarrassment and strength. Real life! Sherwood Pictures does an excellent job of adding some enjoyable and superb humor that will make you laugh and laugh. Good humor without dropping Christian beliefs and morals. You will find yourself laughing, crying and cheering as you watch these every day heroes try and serve and protect their own children and their town.

When tradegy strikes home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith in God and their fathering abilites. Will these urgent issues draw these fathers to God and to their children or away from them Protecting the streets is second nature to these law enforcement officers. Raising their children in a God-honoring way is courageous!

Take a look at the Courageous movie trailer:

Courageous is the fourth movie relased by Sherwood Pictures. I also give great Christian reviews of movies that were done previously to this new 2011 movie. Their movies include:

Fireproof (Kirk Cameron stars in this movie healing a broken marriage )

Facing the Giant (A wonderful movie dealing with HS football and a discouraged coach and team efforts)

Flywheel (A great story about a car salesman. It is their first (low budget) movie produced by Sherwood Baptist Church with great Christian values throughout the movie)

Go see Courageous!! In theaters September 30, 2011

She is diligent by her devotion as a Homemaker. She is compassionate and shows generosity to her neighbor. Her industrious ways demonstrate her devotion as a Homemaker. Her wisdom gives her the ability for her to influence as a Teacher. She is distinguished because of her effectiveness as a Mother. She is honored because of her excellence as a person.

Are you a rare and precious woman, disciplined, energetic, and trustworthy? Do you manage your home? Are you elegant, poised, and praiseworthy? Do you work joyfully, a good steward and prudent with money? Are you influential and God-fearing?

Look at this virtuous woman verse found in the Bible:

Proverbs 31:10-31

10 Who can find a virtuous wife?

Q: When did the earthquake hit Japan?

This blog post about the earthquake comes from a Missionary who has lived in Japan for many years…

Originally, we all kept one eye on news about developments at the power plant, and the other is often scoping out our surroundings for a good place to duck if a big earthquake should hit Japan. Every day or so we are feeling tremors and I don’t even live near the hard-hit areas!

Today, instead of feeling earthquakes every day or two, we only feel an earthquake once a week or so. However, earthquakes are continuing to hit all along the northeast coast of Japan at a rate of 3 or 4 daily. (magnitude of 4+) In the past 7 days there were 29 earthquakes! (8 of those were magnitude of 5+.)

You might find this web site interesting: http://www.japanquakemap.com You can set the map to show earthquakes since March 11 (1240 with a magnitude of 4+ at the moment), or just check on “today” to get an idea of the amount of activity that is continuing on a daily basis. In our area we don’t feel the smaller ones, or those that are farther away, but we do feel the 5′s and 6′s that are closer. However, for those living where it is occurring, they are feeling all of them and it’s unnerving to live in that continual state of uncertainty.

You can also check out the Crash Japan website for updates on relief work at: http://www.crashjapan.com Take a look at the accounts of contacts made in Christ’s name. You will be blessed. That site also includes a prayer bulletin along the right hand side of the website.

CRASH Japan and other Christian volunteer agencies are asking for volunteers to reach out to these needy people, especially with emotional care. Pastors and church members in affected areas have ministered to their surrounding neighborhoods, but they also, are under enormous stress and fatigue. AND THERE IS NO END IN SIGHT in the near future!

Though the media has pretty much fallen silent, the needs are still overwhelming in Japan!

PLEASE continue to pray, especially for Christians living in the affected areas of Japan; pray for more volunteers to step forward, and for their outreach to hurting people (physically and spiritually) still sitting in darkness.

Teams of volunteers help with soup kitchen ministry through local churches. There are still more than 100,000 people living in evacuation centers, most of which do not have hot meals available. For 2 1/2 months people have been living in gymnasiums with no privacy, no bathing facilities-or only makeshift ones, little or no medical help, no immediate hope…and the earthquakes continue to shake their world.

Already a number of people are coming to the Lord! At a local church, some have returned who had stopped attending. PLEASE continue to pray for the people in Japan.

Here are 10 things about Christian internet marketing you might not be aware of:

10. Understand Christian internet marketing – Whether you want to share your faith on the web or you want to get your product, service or business name onto websites and social media, this type of marketing is very different from the old styles of print or tv marketing. Writing, content, visual graphics and processes are not the same. Start with a fresh outlook and see what it’s all about!

9. Don’t give up – Sometimes when people first start on the web they can expect immediate results. Whether it’s traffic, sales or leads, have some patience. Don’t give up because if Christian internet marketing is combined with good SEO, you can see results (depending on the niche) from weeks to months!

8. What’s your goal? – Do you want to sell a product? Share your faith in God? Brand your business name? Get consumers to your store? Keep faithful long term clients? Get new email addresses? Brainstorm first and figure out what the goal is before you proceed any further.

Missionary involvement in Africa still occurs today! I heard this African missionary story and want to share it with my fellow Christian believers!

The Search For an East African Group of People

When we took the wrong road and went bouncing through the bush nearly a day’s journey away from where we thought we were going, the fuel pump broke down (literally cracked and sprayed fuel out) on our truck and we were really stuck. It happened right at a shade tree where there was another African truck that was broken down also. The three boys with that truck were waiting for their boss to come back with a new engine block. They had been there for two days and expected it would take another two days. They had a tube of gasket material in their tool box and were willing to share it with us. They did a very unlikely repair on our fuel pump. Then we had to sit and wait three hours for the glue to set up.

Meanwhile they asked us what four white guys were doing that far out in the bush. So we told our story to them. The oldest of the three, the driver, became quite interested when he heard we came to find an East African village to see if they wanted to hear and learn about the Word of God. He began asking sincere questions. He had heard before about Christianity but didn’t understand what it was all about. These boys were Muslim.

Earlier we had picked up an “accidental” translator on our road trip who was a Christian believer and very much in agreement with what we were doing. Fortunately, he also spoke the same language as these boys, so he asked permission to explain our story. Of course we wanted him to translate! Our translator started to pour out the plan of salvation and the difference between Islam and the personal relationship God wants to have with His creation. He did such a great job! I was spell-bound watching and followed his explanations even though I couldn’t speak the language. An hour and a half later, the 25 year old Muslim guy said,

I want to ask Jesus to take over my life. Will you pray for me?

We asked the other two younger boys if they wanted to also and they said,

No, we want to ask our fathers if it is OK first.

Our translator told them we respected that but explained that this was a personal decision about eternity and that each person must make his own choice, etc. He was so good. So we prayed for this young man, right there kneeling under a shade tree in 115 degree weather at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. I truly believe this young man knew clearly what he was doing. Our translator spent another hour and explained what a difference it is now, the witness he needs to have for Christ, that he will need to seek out instruction about God’s Word and will need to depend on Jesus when every manner of thing comes against him that he can no longer depend on or turn to witchcraft or fetishes, when life gets rough, etc. He was so good! This young man was very serious and understood well all our translator explained to him. (It was such a Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch experience!) It was incredible. All because we took a wrong turn and our truck broke down!

By the way, the temporary and unlikely fuel pump repair lasted for three more days on the roughest roads I’ve ever seen and four more river crossings that the water was up over the hood of the truck. One time the water was up to the windshield wipers on the windows but the little truck plowed right on through and we made it to the other side and up the next bank. That particular one was a couple hundred feet across and if it had died, we would still be there totally stuck. What an experience! So many more experiences just as incredible, including meetings with village chiefs and elders. God showed us that the door was open and the people were waiting for God’s word!

One chief told us,

I am an old man and have seen many things and gained many things. But I told God some time ago that if a missionary ever comes to our village with His Word, I will love him and do everything in my power to make him welcome so he can teach us God’s Word and our children will grow up to know God’s Word.

I did not understand their language but thought I understand what he said. I thought surely this is not what he said. I sat there about to die trying to be patient enough to wait for him to finish so the translator could translate for me. When he finally confirmed what the chief was saying. I still could hardly believe the impact of what had just happened and that I understood him! And then it got better!

This was a village that we found because of the broken truck and the wrong turn. We didn’t even know where we were exactly, except, we were a long way east of where we had intended to go. We also didn’t even know that this would be in East Africa land yet, and we were right on the edge. In fact, this village was split, part Eastern Africa and part of the other ethnic group, but the chief was from East Africa. So after saying what he did, he also said,

This is just my personal response. But I cannot respond for the village until we meet with all the elders. Half of the elders are from East Africa and half are another ethnic group.

By this time it was very dark and getting late for village life. (Nearly 8pm.) So I thought, well, we are certainly stuck here for the night. I hoped they offered us a place to sleep, because we would need to meet with the elders the next day. But the chief had other plans. He said,

No, we are going to settle this tonight. The other elders need to hear about this. I will wash and put on my chief clothes and call a council tonight. Go on back to the center of town and when I am ready I will come.

The one elder that was with us was to send word on ahead to the other elders to gather at his compound. We waited about an hour for the chief to come and the women of the compound cooked us rice and Guinea fowl. It was so good and we were so hungry!

So…they had their meeting that night with us! The whole story was told and all the elders agreed with the chief, that they wanted us to send missionaries to teach God’s Word to the whole village and the children! One of the other ethnic group elders said,

It is only God’s Word that will bring peace to our village.

Please note that this is a Muslim village on a route that we had no intention at all of passing through. In fact, the road was so bad and the river crossings so deep, we would not have even considered going down into that area if we had known.

It was nearly 10:30pm when the meeting broke up and everyone went to their huts. The elder emptied his hut for us and we unrolled our bed rolls and tried to sleep. We were still dumbfounded by all that God had done just in that one day. The next day was no less amazing!

God is still at work in a big way in Africa! All praise to God and God alone!

If you are asking the question, “Is Justin Bieber a Christian?” you might have heard or seen some of his videos about his faith. Justin Bieber has often spoken about his faith. Where he is spiritually only he and God can say. His Mom has spoken candidly about her own Christian belief and Justin’s upbringing.

Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette, began attending a non-denomination Christian church when she came to know Jesus. She raised Justin to know God and Justin professes a faith in Jesus. Justin’s mom has also said she did not pray for Justin to be a pop star. She and Justin prayed for his success to go slowly so they could figure out if it’s God’s will and God’s plan for Justin.

Pattie wants Christians to pray for her son. She feels accountable for her son and knows he is in need of protection from making wrong decisions. She asks for you to pray for this young celebrity. In today’s culture and media influences, it can be hard for teens and tweens to keep their eyes on God. Hollywood may seem glamerous, but there are plenty of temptations and sinful situations the devil uses to entice those who have the financial means to buy what looks good to them.

If you have watched Bieber’s concerts, then you have seen Justin often blesses the crowds at the end of his concerts by saying, “Jesus loves you!” Many times Justin’s Christian faith is seen when he prays for his fans. If you are a Christian, make a commitment and pray for Justin Bieber’s faith and walk with Jesus!

Are you interested in Christian SEO? Linking strategies are an important aspect of search engine optimization but as a Christian, you want to make sure no rules are broken and your conduct is pure without fault.

What are some Christian SEO linking strategies?

Find website that are relevant to your website and exchange links.

Use good keywords in the anchor text of your link

Always add descriptions to your linking

Don’t link with websites that solely have links with no additional content

Here is an example of SEO linking strategies with Christian SEO:

If you have a website ministry that is helping the poor, find other Christian organizations that help the poor. Email them and ask to exchange links. Don’t think of them as your competition!

Another way to add and create new content for your own website is to ask the website owner to exchange links by writing a blog post with a good link placed in the content back to your own website. (And vise-versa if you are writing the blog post for the other website.)

Make sure your organization or business is in business directories on all of the search engines to increase your SEO linking strategies. Create press releases, directories, articles, and business profiles to help with additional linking.

Recently, there has been a greater emphasis on SEO linking strategies then in previous years. Now is the time to focus on increasing the links that point to your site. Don’t worry if you don’t see changes right away in search results. Keep focused and press on.

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.
~Galatians 6:9 (NASB)

Question: How Much Does It Cost to Have a Website?

Answer: This is a huge question because there are many other aspects to owning a website. The cost for the website alone can range from $0 to literally a $100,000! Let’s look a little deeper at the question at what specifically you are looking for in your website.

Here are a few questions you need to consider:

Do you want to build it yourself?

Do you want to maintain it yourself?

Do you want it to appear in search engine results?

What is the purpose of your website? It is for business, personal or private use?

Once you can determine these answers, it will help to answer the question, “How much does it cost to have a website?” You need to purchase a domain name. (the website address) This can cost approximately $10 a year. You also need somewhere to hold the files. Hosting costs approx. $100 a year. Have you considered internet marketing? (Getting traffic and sales.) In addition, search engine optimization (SEO) will help get your website viewed on the first page of Google and other search engines.

I’ve known people to spend $10,000 and more for a website that doesn’t even appear in search engines. How does that happen? Having or creating and building a website alone will not get you the results you most likely want. In other words, a pretty website alone won’t bring in revenue.

Before you purchase a domain or pay someone to build a website, learn the basics of internet marketing. Don’t overpay a company to have a website. Lay a good foundation and be successful with your website!

Take hold of instruction; do not let go. Guard her, for she is your life. ~Proverbs 4:13

Today the web is very popular! YOU are on the web reading about the meaning of web marketing. Let’s take a step back before the web.

Most people use the web to check email, purchase clothing, talk with family and friends, upload photos, find a job, purchase airfare, research a term paper or watch a video. Compare this to a decade or two ago. Most people got their mail and their bills via “snail mail”. Land lines were common and calling long distance was the exception not the norm. Most people watched TV and kids took a quarter in case they needed to make a phone call when they were away from home. So, how has marketing developed since then?

Traditional marketing (print, radio, television) still exists. But the web has become a winning giant! Most people today carry phones and hand held devices that allow web users to surf the internet. In addition, laptops and desk pcs open the door to many web marketing opportunities. Millions of people are on the web and less people are listening to radio and television. What’s that mean for web marketing? It’s grown like wild fire!! Let’s look at the meaning of web marketing by dividing it into several different divisions.

5 Forms of Web Marketing

Email – Most people view their mail electronically. Getting potential customers and strengthening the relationship with clients through email is practically free and easier then “snail mail.”

Search Engines (organic and paid) – Most people are searching for information or products through search engines. Whether you use “pay-per-click” ads (paid) or your website is seen in standard search results (organic) there is a specific form of internet marketing needed to achieve these goals. Why is this so important? Because most people don’t look past page one of search engine results.

E-commerce – Instead of paying rent for a physical address, business owners can have a web store and make just as much income. If you do have a physical location, this is one more location to sell your product with little or no overhead!

Social Media – With social media, you can gain insight from consumers, strengthen customer relationships and help create good reviews of your company’s products and brand name.

Banners and Ads – How many times have you been on the web and clicked on a banner you saw? How many times have you seen an ad and it sparked your interest? Banners and ads are paid web marketing that are successful if marketed with the user in mind.

What is the meaning of web marketing? It means there are customers waiting to be marketed to and looking for what you have!! Don’t be a business without web marketing. If you own a business, know the value of using web marketing in today’s society…because it works!

When you look back at 2010, how well did it go? And how did you live your Christian life? 2011 is here! Are you prepared to ring in the new year for Jesus? If that is your new year resolution, what plan do you have?

That reminds me of the fact that gym club memberships rise at the beginning of each year. After a couple of months, the new members quit appearing! Why is that? Because the idea was well intended but the plan and commitment wasn’t there. So, how do YOU plan to ring in the new year for Jesus?

If you are a Christan, here are 5 suggestions for the new year:

Spend more time listening to God through Bible reading and prayer. If you aren’t doing this right now, start small with 5 minutes every day until it becomes natural. Then increase your time little by little.

Volunteer your time at church. There are many opportunities to help. If you already volunteer, this suggestion in not for you to do more. Burning out is not good either!

Spend some time every week with your neighbor. We live in a modern society that doesn’t interact with each other anymore. When is the last time you chatted with your neighbor over coffee or brought them some cookies?

Take a class on evangelism. Many Christians feel they are unable to share the good news of Jesus Christ. If that is you, find a church that has classes and join one this year!

Create a website with Christian search engine optimization and write a blog that will draw people to Jesus! There are lots of people in the world that feel hopeless and don’t know the news that Jesus loves them and has a plan for their life. This is a great way to make a difference for Jesus Christ!

Ring in the New Year for Jesus!!

Are you asking the question, “When you die, what happens?” Our life on earth is what we all know. But afterwords? There are many beliefs:

Atheism is the belief that there is no afterlife. People don’t have eternal souls and we won’t exist. Life is meaningless without God! The Bible talks about this thought by King Solomon (The wealthiest person to ever live.) in the book of Ecclesiastes.

Pantheism is the belief that a non-personal God and nature are one, that there is an all-inclusive divine unity.

There are many other beliefs but the Bible clearly states what will happen. If you are asking the question, “When you die, what happens?” hold onto your seat for the answer! Hebrews 9:27 states

And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.

Once you and I die, we will stand before God to receive our future; eternal life with Him or separation from Him in the eternal lake of fire. Once you and I die, the soul leaves the body. In 2 Corinthians 5:8 it states

We are confident, I say and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

For Christians, death is nothing to fear because we know we will arrive in heaven. Death loses its sting and now becomes a victory through Jesus our Lord! (Christianity is the only religion where God reaches down to man. In other religions, man is trying to reach god.)

Do you want to know Jesus or learn more about Him? I recommend this site ~ an online Bible study for beginners.

Based on what the word of God says, the Christian believer knows what happens when you die. What happens? After death there is a glorious future for those who believe and trust in Jesus Christ!

What celebration holiday is around the corner? Thanksgiving! And gratitude is important! Webster Dictionary defines gratitude as “the state of being grateful : thankfulness.” Why be thankful? Because Americans have a lot to be thankful for! If you are one of the many Americans who don’t know what to be thankful for during this Thanksgiving season, here are five things to consider. Then have a heart with Thanksgiving gratitude and thank God today.

You have air you can breath!

You have the ability or sense to walk, talk, listen, speak, sit, see or smell!

You have freedom in America.

You have family or at least one friend. (If you don’t, visit a church and make some friends!)

You have the freedom to worship the true and living God.

Take time during Thanksgiving and allow gratitude to penetrate into your heart. (I’m not saying you have no problems!) Take your mind off your problems, focus on God and find someone who is less fortune then you.

Finally, bless someone today. If you don’t think you have anything to share, give some Thanksgiving gratitude!!

Happy Thanksgiving 2010!

Don Ritchie is an elderly man who lives in Australia. He is now 84 years old and what many might call a hero. Why? Because he has decided to help stop those who attempt to commit suicide near his home.

Don Ritchie isn’t a celebrity and he isn’t well known. But for those persons who go to Australia’s well known suicide spot, The Gap, he is a lifesaver!

The Gap is a rocky cliff at the entrance of Watsons Bay in Australia. With a small fence at this edge, as many as one person a week commits suicide!

Don Ritchie lives across the street from this cliff. He has seen many people who are desperately in need of help, choosing to take their life for whatever situation they have encountered. He chooses to take time for each of these individuals and offer to listen. With a watchful eye on this cliff, he might offer a cup of tea and help save a life.

Years ago he was strong enough to climb the fence and stop people from jumping. But now, he offers a listening ear with words of care and compassion. He also offers a smile and always approaches people in a friendly manner. His smile and tea doesn’t save everyone! But for many, it saved THEIR life. That makes a difference to them!

Don Ritchie has been named 2010′s Citizen of the Year! He has saved at least 160 people with his calming and reassuring voice. Some folks like to think of him as an angel.

So what about you? What are you doing to make a difference in this lost and lonely world? There are many hurting people who need Jesus!

Make a difference for someone today!

Q: What are the benefits of social media in business?

A: Recently Gap returned to their old logo because of the outcry they got from Facebook and Twitter. Gap made a decision and unexpectedly to their clients, changed their logo. With this decision, Gap got a surprise response from social media. Their customers did not want the new logo. Did Gap listen? Apparently they did! They announced they were returning to their old, familiar logo.

What are the benefits of social media in business? Social media strengthens your relationship with your clients and helps build better communication between you (the business) and the client. Yes, it takes some time, but the relationship value is very important if you are seeking a long term investment. This is valuable to your business! Social media is not a “quick sale.”

Do you see your benefits of social media in business? Are you listening to your clients or supporters? What are they saying?

We are a Christian internet marketing company and also look at Biblical matters. If you are a Christian, here is a spiritual question which you should connect with social media. Are you listening to those who are lost or do you think it isn’t important and the Gospel is all that matters. What did Jesus do? Did Jesus interact and build relationships with others? Of course! He encouraged those who were hurting and also directed those who were lost and looking for answers.

Don’t forget the importance and benefits of social media in business! Listen to those around you. Sometimes a business needs to be quiet ……. and listen.

Most people today have heard of Twitter and Facebook. You probably have a profile! That makes me wonder. Would Jesus “tweet” on Twitter or “like” Facebook Pages?

In today’s society, many people have iPhones and Blackberrys and can stay in contact with social media. Minute by minute you can update Facebook with pictures and stay informed with what celebrities and friends are doing through Twitter.

When we look at the Bible, how did Jesus interact in the society at that time? He attended social functions. His first miracle was demonstrated at the Cana wedding. (He turned water into wine) He interacted and socialized with people at dinner parties which included tax collectors and prostitutes.

So how do you connect Jesus with social media?

Jesus said “Follow me.” (Matthew 9) There are many followers on Twitter and there are millions of people who follow celebrities. If Jesus was on earth today I think He would have tweeted “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

I think Jesus’ disciples would have retweeted some of The Beatitudes from Matthew 5. RT @Jesus Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Would Jesus “tweet” on Twitter or “like” Facebook Pages?

Jesus wanted to save the lost and weary. There are millions of lost and weary people that need Jesus on Twitter and Facebook. Tweet about Jesus on Twitter or tell someone about Jesus on Facebook today!

What is creationism? (A definition from a Biblical perspective.) The first two books of the Bible discuss creationism. Take a look at the very first verse of the Bible!

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. – Genesis 1:1

In six days I, the Lord, made the earth, the sky, the seas, and everything in them, but on the seventh day I rested. – Exodus 20:11

Here is a video that shows some beautiful pictures of our earth. I hope it helps you to see that a Designer is required to create the intricate detail of life, animals, earth and our universe.

The Bible clearly states that the cosmos, including all the matter and energy, was created by God. Someone is the creator. Creation can not be by mere chance. Because creation is from the Bible. many people believe creationism is a religious theory. But is that true? Might it be more scientific then you realize? What scientific evidence is there to support creationism?

The five greatest physicists in history—Newton, Faraday, Thompson, Maxwell, and Einstein—each stated their belief that the universe was created by God; four of the five were Christians with a strong belief that the Bible was the authoritative Word of God. Where would modern science be without these scientists’ contributions?

Biblical creation is based off of the word of God. But it also is backed by science. There are some wonderful Christian organizations that have examples, definitions and facts to support creationism. I challenge you to research what is said and then create your conclusion about creationism.

Do you use the Bible to encourage others? So often, Christian tend to focus on sins and rules or are self-absorbed with their selves and not paying much attention to the needs of others.

What about encouraging others when they are discouraged, struggling with problem, or need a friend? How about being friendly and encouraging another friend or someone you don’t know with a kind word or gesture? Our society says it is all about ourselves and others are not important! But what does the Bible say?

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. ~~ 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Let’s look at a few Bible verses that show encouragement to others. Christians and non-believers need love and encouragement! What is encouragement? It’s the act of giving hope or support to someone.

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace. ~ 1 Peter 4:8-10

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. ~ Galatians 6:2

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. ~ Hebrews 10:23-25

Use the Bible to encourage others who do not know Him! God has given us rivers of living water! Don’t you want to be a blessing to someone else?

Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” ~ John 7:38

Has anyone seen heaven? The answer is Yes! A number of people have seen heaven! In the Bible, the disciple John writes about it in the last book of the Bible, Revelation. Several others have written about heaven and what they saw in the Bible.

Some people have had spiritual visions and others have had real encounters. In recent years (2004), Kevin Malarkey and his then six-year-old son, Alex, suffered a horrific car accident. Two months later, Alex awoke from a coma with an incredible story to share. Unfortunately, the accident has caused him permanent and serious physical damage. This is one true story you might want to read. A book was written about the experience. (The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven)

Before you call this a hoax or say some one is trying to make a dollar, here is a short video clip that will answer the question, “Has anyone seen heaven?” As you see Heaven and earth through this boy’s eyes, you’ll come away with new insights on miracles and life beyond this world.

Take a minute to view this video.

Alex received the “Christopher Reeve surgery’ which allows him to breathe without a ventilator. He can stand in a supportive frame for an hour at a time and with help, can walk on a treadmill while helpers move his legs. Alex is a special young man! Please pray for him.

This attempted robbery is one to be noted!

Nayara Goncalves, was alone in the store in Pompano Beach, Florida when a man displayed a gun and demanded cash. Nayara, the store manager and a devout Christian, calmly said,

“You can do whatever you want, but I’m just going to talk to you about Jesus, my God, before you leave.”

I want to write about this robbery not because of the robber but because this young lady had a heart to evangelize to a desperate man. And the store was being robbed! What an opportunity to shine for Jesus. And Nayara chose to shine!

Take a look at the video. What would you have done in this situation? How do you handle tough situations that make you angry or afraid?

Shine for Jesus! Whatever situation you are going through, (And hopefully it’s not a robbery like Nayara Goncalve experienced!) let God enable you to talk to people about Jesus and the plans He has for them!If you are a Christian, take a stand and lovingly share the hope that awaits for those that do not know Him!

And remember the word of God at all times: Do not be afraid, the Lord your God is with you.

One of the 10 Commandments is:

You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

You aren’t jealous of your neighbor’s donkey but what about his car?

How often have you looked and longed for it?

If you know you need to stop bring jealous of others and possessions, we need to look at the root of the problem. Other 10 commandments state:

You shall have no other gods before me.

You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.

Learning to be content can be hard to do! But it’s not impossible when you have a relationship with the Almighty God of our universe! When you can appreciate the blessings God has given to you, you can become thankful for the abundance of things you have.

If you want to stop being jealous of others, pray and ask God to forgive you. Then, ask God to open your eyes to His many blessings in your life. Finally, thank God for meeting all your needs!!

God bless America! Will God bless America? You can also ask the question, is America still a God fearing nation? It once was!

If you are a Christian, you may wonder how to balance government with your dedication to Christ. Let’s look at what the Bible says!

~Pray for Those in Government

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. -1 Timothy 2:1-2

~Pay Your Government Taxes

Then he (Jesus) said to them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” -Matthew 22:21

Psalm 33:12 states:

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD,
The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.

If you are a Christian, stand firm in your faith and know that you are on the winning team!! Americans have the freedom to pray and meet in a church. Make sure this July 4th you thank God for that freedom that many countries do not have.

And Pray…

Pray for our soldiers

Pray for our nation

Pray for wisdom for our leaders in Government

God bless America!

Are you looking for Christian miracles? Today there are many miracles that God creates. In America, sometimes they seems infrequent or minimal compared to what the bible speaks about.

The truth is that miracles still happen today! A Christian friend of mine experienced a miracle a few days ago and I wanted to share it with you. His name is Andres and he lives in Tennessee with his sweet wife, Melba.

Experiencing Christian miracles:

“Yesterday while I was driving on I40 in heavy rain, I lost control of my car and spun across 3 lanes of heavy traffic going over 60 mph and ended perfectly parked next to the concrete divider, facing the right way. All this happened while my wife was watching from another car that was following me. I thought it was my time to go home! (heaven) But the Lord’s hand protected me and neither me or the car suffered a scratch!

I am able to testify of this because of God’s immense mercy and protection. Life is certainly like a mist, today we’re here, tomorrow we may not. So live knowing God’s presence is always with you, and let’s be ready for the moment we meet Him face to face. Praise Him!”

Andres is a Christian and knows where he will go if he should die. How about you? Are you ready to meet your Creator?

Christian miracles do happen today. I have also experiences these wonderful miracles! The God of the bible is the same Jehovah today and forever!

Chick-Fil-A Reviews – It was my pleasure to experience a free Chick-Fil-A’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich this week! As my husband and I walked into the Coral Springs location that is operated by Samuel Poeana, we were in for an incredible experience!

In a corner of the restaurant, balloons hung down with pretty ribbon, red table coverings and real, single flowers were on each table. We were greeted with wonderful service and kind employees.

Sitting down, we were given a menu with our choice of toppings for the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The Coral Springs location was including an entire meal experience. What a surprise!! We were asked what drink we wanted and also offered a choice of fries, cole slaw or a side salad. While eating, the employees returned and asked if everything was OK and offered to refill our drinks. They also brought the condiments of our choice and waited on us perfectly!

The food was delicious!! It included a warm bun, breaded chicken that had a kick to it and was very hot. The waffle fries were hot and each bite was perfect. The side salad I ordered included broccoli, carrots and grape tomatoes and the dressing was enough to drench it, if desired.

Once done, the employees returned to our table and gave each of us a coupon for a free breakfast biscuit. Another surprise ~~ slam-dunk! We are coming back for more free food and Chick-Fil-A gained two new customers!

From a Christian marketing perspective, we were very impressed with our whole experience. We knew Chick-Fil-A was fast food, but this experience will not disappear from our mind. We expected a sandwich but were embraced with a full meal, good service and a dining view that was a step above the norm!

Chick-Fil-A is a fast food restaurant franchise that serves some healthier choices of food. “Eat Mor Chikin” is their popular, catchy, marketing phrase. They are also well-known for not being open on Sundays ~ in respect to their Christian conviction to take a day of rest. Don’t be surprised when their marketing campaigns are successful and their sales keep growing every year!

Where do you think we’ll go the next time we want to pick up some fast food? From our fast food reviews? Chick-Fil-A! And it’s my pleasure to say it.

Are you a Christian not certain how to witness to an Atheist? This post is to help you be successful in this endeavor. Words and concepts are important based on who you are talking to! Watch the video below. The author uses key concepts you’ll want to share when you witness to an Atheist.

Looking at YouTube videos, I saw a number of Christians making an effort to witness to Atheists. Christian videos can make a difference! When a Christian wants to get on the internet and witness to someone, there is an open door to Christian internet marketing. Here are 5 key elements needed to make sure your videos, message and marketing strategies are successful.

Create a video less then 3 minutes – Web users will leave a video (even if the video is interesting!) after 2 or 3 minutes maximum!

Add your website – At the end of your video, in bold and easy to read font, add your web address including www. Allow these words to linger long enough for the viewer to write it down or remember your website.

Title your video with good keywords – People searching will find your video. Countless videos on YouTube do not use relevant words in their video titles.

Add a description to your video – Search engines will capture your initial words. Write the best keywords at the beginning of your description.

Add a click-able link to your website – When possible, use anchor text.

When you witness to an atheist, don’t put down others who don’t believe in Jesus Christ or Christianity. Use truth, but speak in words of love and kindness. Use humor, if possible ~ we all like to laugh at good humor. (Not sarcasm!) Show compassion to the atheist or unbeliever. Ultimately, pray for those who will view your video!

“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33b

Use these tactics and know how to witness to an Atheist. If you need some help with Christian internet marketing, contact us!

Here are my top 10 reasons why life is worth living!

10. Be kind to a stranger

Pay the toll for the person behind you and have fun wondering what they thought when the toll person says to them, “The person in the car ahead of you paid your toll!”

9. Enjoy the beauty of a sunrise

The beautiful colors in a sunrise show us there is a Creator who designed this universe and gave you the gift of life. You might even see a sunrise outside your window.
Have you looked?

8. Help someone less fortunate

How about the homeless person sleeping on the park bench? There are people in worse situations then you are in. You will feel good to help others and see them smile. It will bring a smile to your face. You can make a new friend!

7. Listen to birds sing

You walk by the big oak tree every day and never think twice about those birds. Their sounds are uplifting and when you think about it you realize that God, their Creator, gave them beautiful voices they use to sing and make beautiful melodies we get to hear and enjoy!

6. Look at a newborn baby

You usually focus on the crying and screaming. But if you ever look at a sleeping infant and see the incredible small eyes, nose and lips you know that there is a God who formed them in their mother’s womb. They are in need of a loving parent to guide them, protect them and help them.

5. Laugh and be silly with a child

When your neighbor’s one year old laughs and giggles when you say “Boo!” and you hide behind the mail box it brings a smile to your face. You repeat the same game every day and every day this child laughs and enjoys interacting with you.

4. Enjoy food like a kid

Remember the simple things in life like eating food almost as big as you are? Find some food and step outside without a plate! Enjoy the sunshine and whatever you eat!

3. Cry with your neighbor when she needs you

If your neighbor comes home and mentions that she got a pink slip, you can be there for her! Hugging her and crying with her can be her hope. Did you know you can help?

2. Walk in the rain

Feel the raindrops splash on your face and let them join the tears on your face. Times can be tough. Emotions can feel overwhelming! The raindrops from heaven can be smoothing to your soul.

and the number one reason why life is worth living?….

1. Because Jesus Christ lives!

Jesus wants to help you! He died for your sins and rose from the dead! He conquered death so YOU can have life with Him!
He has a plan for YOU and wrote the Bible to help YOU live life abundantly with Him!

Life is worth living!

Are you wondering who is the God of Christianity? Good question! Jesus Christ is the King of the Jews, the King of Kings, the Savior of the world!

Dr. S.M. Lockridge stated it well in a sermon well-known as ” That’s My King.” Here are some of the words in Dr. Lockridge’s sermon. If you are visual and sound oriented, watch the video afterwords. It is excellent and will answer the question, “Who is the God of Christianity?”

The Bible says my King is the King of the Jews,
He’s the King of Israel,
He’s the King of Righteousness,
He’s the King of the Ages,
He’s the King of Heaven,
He’s the King of Glory,
He’s the King of kings, and He’s the Lord of lords.
That’s my King. I wonder, do you know Him?

My King is a sovereign King.
No means of measure can define His limitless love.
He’s enduringly strong.
He’s entirely sincere,
He’s eternally steadfast,
He’s immortally graceful,
He’s imperially powerful,
He’s impartially merciful…Do you know Him?

He’s the greatest phenomenon that has ever crossed the horizon of this world.
He’s God’s Son,
He’s a sinner’s Savior,
He’s the centerpiece of civilization,
He’s unparalleled,
He’s unprecedented,
He’s the loftiest idea in literature,
He’s the highest personality in philosophy,
He’s the fundamental doctrine of true theology,
He’s the only one qualified to be an all sufficient Savior.
I wonder if you know Him today.

He supplies strength for the weak,
He’s available for the tempted and the tried,
He sympathizes and He saves,
He strengthens and sustains,
He guards and He guides,
He heals the sick,
He cleanses the lepers,
He forgives sinners,
He discharges debtors,
He delivers the captive,
He defends the feeble,
He blesses the young,
He serves the unfortunate,
He regards the aged,
He rewards the diligent and He beautifies the meek…I wonder if you know Him?

He’s the key to knowledge,
He’s the wellspring of wisdom,
He’s the doorway of deliverance,
He’s the pathway of peace,
He’s the roadway of righteousness,
He’s the highway of holiness,
He’s the gateway of glory…Do you know Him?

Well, His promise is sure,
His light is matchless,
His goodness is limitless,
His mercy is everlasting
His love never changes,
His word is enough,
His grace is sufficient,
His reign is righteous, and His yoke is easy, and his burden is light.

I wish I could describe Him to you!
He’s indescribable,
He’s incomprehensible,
He’s invincible,
He’s irresistible.

Well, you can’t get Him out of your mind!
You can’t get Him off of your hand!
You can’t out live Him, and you can’t live without Him!

The Pharisees couldn’t stand Him, but they found out they couldn’t stop Him!
Pilate couldn’t find any fault in Him,
Herod couldn’t kill Him,
Death couldn’t handle Him, and the grave couldn’t hold Him! Yeah!
That’s my King, that’s my King!

Father, “Thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, Forever”
and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever.

How long is that?
And ever, and ever, and when you get through with all the forevers, then,
Amen! Amen!

Some people talk about the Easter bunny and eggs. Many people go to church on Easter and it’s celebrated by millions of people. So, what is Easter about? Obviously there is no Easter bunny, so why do Christians celebrate this Easter holiday?

Good Friday is the day Christians believe Jesus Christ (the Messiah; the son of God) was crucified on a cross. Easter Sunday is the day Christians believe Jesus Christ rose from the dead!

So, what is the big deal?

You and I sin and deserve death as punishment.

God is perfect and holy.

We are unable to connect with God due to our own sins.

So what did God do? He loves us so much the Bible says:

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. -John 3:16,17

What is Easter about? Christians celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead on Easter Sunday. This means that death has been conquered! Easter is the day Jesus was resurrected from the dead! If some of this is a lot to comprehend, watch this video and pay close attention to the words of this song. This short video is a popular Christian song called “He’s Alive” by Don Francisco.

We hope this Easter you find a church to visit and learn more to answer the question, “What is Easter about?” If you have questions, feel free to contact us.

Recently at Calvary Chapel, I heard a message on our burdens. That made me think of mine: Adopting abused children from foster care. And yes, we are in the process of adopting from the state of Florida!! With my burden so great, God also gave us an opportunity to volunteer our time to help the Heart Gallery of Lane County in Oregon with search engine optimization! What a thrill to help get web pages optimized that will promote Oregon foster adoption. Heart Gallery is a non-profit organization that creates beautiful photographs of kids waiting for adoption. Many kids have special needs and many are older teens. These kids are the last to find a permanent home and some of them never do.

Adopting abused children is a burden that I have had for a few years. The Bible says:

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. – James 1:27

As a Christian, I would love to see every Christian couple commit to adoption or foster care. And that is the reason for this post on our Christian internet marketing blog. If you want more facts, adoption and foster care information from your state can be found at Heart Gallery of America.

Make a difference in the life of a child today!

Christian Internet Marketing is a common practice used by non-profit organizations. Who is reading their emails and who views their web sites? Typically, it’s the Christian community who responds or engages in conversation.

And so I ask you. Is Christian internet marketing only for Christians? It shouldn’t be! The Bible says we are to be “the salt of the earth.” If we are “shining like stars in the universe” we should be seen in the dark world. How can the light be bright unless the environment is dark?

My point is that we have great news we should be sharing with the non-believer. If non-believers are searching for information in Google or reading articles and press releases, why wouldn’t the Christian WANT to put the good news of Jesus Christ in that arena?

Time and time again this is not the course of action. Web sites are built, articles and books are written, and the only people glancing at them or reading them is the Church! So how do we change this cycle? By getting informed. For example, to improve internet marketing you can:

Optimize web content

Get involved in social media

Understand the different aspects of internet marketing

If you are a Christian and have a passion to get the gospel out to a dark world, find out what you need to do to achieve this goal for the glory of God. And if you need some help, feel free to contact us so we can help you shine for Jesus!
