Do you need to stop being jealous of others? In the United States, we have a lot of “stuff.” Others have better jobs, better houses, better wives, or better cars then what you have!

One of the 10 Commandments is:

  • You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

Stop being jealous of others!

You aren’t jealous of your neighbor’s donkey but what about his car?

How often have you looked and longed for it?

If you know you need to stop bring jealous of others and possessions, we need to look at the root of the problem. Other 10 commandments state:

  • You shall have no other gods before me.
  • You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.

Learning to be content can be hard to do! But it’s not impossible when you have a relationship with the Almighty God of our universe! When you can appreciate the blessings God has given to you, you can become thankful for the abundance of things you have.

If you want to stop being jealous of others, pray and ask God to forgive you. Then, ask God to open your eyes to His many blessings in your life. Finally,  thank God for meeting all your needs!!

  1. We use WordPress and love it! Here are some reasons why WordPress is good for SEO.

  2. Nice blog, just looking around some blogs, seems a fairly good platform you are using. I am presently using WordPress for a couple of of my sites but looking to change one of them over to a platform comparable to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you’d recommend about it?
